Kynd – Not so kind – NDIS Support Workers

Whilst under the care of a Kynd contractor I had a serious fall. I fell down a gutter on busy Adelaide street. The contractor failed to report the injury to the NDIS safeguard commission. When I contacted Kynd, they wanted nothing to do with it and in an email told me it’s between me and the contractor not them. Question I ask myself “Why is it safer to use Kynd to connect with support workers when, a client is seriously injured and Kynd want nothing to do with the client?”. Using Kynd isn’t a safe way to connect with support workers. In-fact, it would be safer to get a stranger off the street to assist you. A homeless person would show you greater compassion and give you assistance, where-as, Kynd’s top priority is to milk your NDIS funding all they can doing as little as possible and when something goes wrong, sweep you under the carpet.

Kynd has the psychopathic belief they are untouchable and above the law. The law requires all business in Australia must issue a receipt for payments that are greater than $75. I made several requests to Kynd for receipts to the value greater than $20,000 and they ignore my request. To this date, I don’t hear from Kynd and no receipts given to me. Wouldn’t surprise me if they are involved in unlawful tax evasion. If their business was above board they would give me receipts for payments made. Would they not? Only a shoddy business avoiding tax would avoid giving tax receipts!

A small time company, more so a business that claims to be a safe way to get a support worker. But, when a client is injured through negligence of support workerm they want nothing to do with you. I later found out, the support worker that was negligent, failing in duty of care had not done the NDIS safeguard commission FREE online training course.

This blog will be updated daily for the next several days with some facts to shock you about Kynd business practice.

Kynd is a Australian Private Company. First registered with the ASIC 10th November 2016. Current registered place of business, 22 Honeysuckle Dr Newcastle NSW 2300. This doesn’t mean they operate from there. That’s just where the official government documents go.

Their location has changed a few times since registering with ASIC several years ago. First starting from the Sunshine Coast Queensland, then purchasing a house on the Gold Coast, Queensland and possibly purchased a unit in Newcastle, New South Wales. As far as stability in staying in the one place goes, not that stable. There, location changes on average once in 2 years. Next location, most likely around Bondi Beach Sydney late 2025, early 2026. The only sure thing, they like the beach life and purchase investment properties on and near the beach. I bet the cutie manning the phones would have a great tan line.

Mum does accounts, looks after the cash 😉 daughter mans the phones 😉 Keep it in the family.

I get a sense of paranoia when constantly reminded you must never employ their contractors directly or else face legal action. Seems more interested in protecting themselves. I’ve seen this behaviour before/ You know the old saying “The accuser is often the abuser” I’d say years ago, mum of the business started out as a contract support worker for one of the big guns and stole their clients to be employed direct 😉 Which would explain the paranoia. Perhaps Kynd I took one of your contractors or perhaps not….
